Rehome & Recycle
Rehoming
ULOOP is committed to transforming the fashion industry’s impact on the environment by creating a fully circular system that keeps textiles out of landfill. By collecting pre-owned garments through donation sites, we are able to carefully sort and process them to maximise their desirability once again. We place a huge focus on ensuring every garment that is rewearable finds a new home by utilising our experience and connections in the pre-owned fashion industry. Whether garments are sold individually at affordable prices, wholesaled to small businesses around Australia or donated to those in need the key is that all rewearable clothing finds a new home and stays in the LOOP.
Recycling
Clothing that cannot be reworn is collected by our industry leading partner in clothing recycling which has been chosen carefully to ensure that 100% of damaged clothing is broken down into raw materials that can be repurposed into new products, such as insulation, industrial rags, or even new fabrics and ultimately given a whole new life. This means that no clothing ends up in landfill.
Whether the garments we collect are rehomed or repurposed; This holistic approach not only eliminates textile waste and conserves resources but also encourages responsible consumer habits, ultimately aiming to shift society toward a more sustainable and conscious relationship with clothing.
